"Herb and his team from ArborCare Tree Service did a fantastic job removing a very large split trunk Ash tree that was infested with the Emerald Ash Borer on our river front property. This tree was huge and more then 80 years old. To make it more interesting and difficult, the tree leaned towards a reasonably steep bank and hung over the St. Lawrence River, with no access from the bank side.
Herb and his entire team were very respectful of our property and used mats to protect our lawn. There was no mess, when they were done they did a complete lawn rake, such that you would never know they were here.
Herb and team were very safety conscious. Everything they cut was safety roped and lowered down, not just dropped. Our lawn was also 'padded' with logs and tires when big pieces near the base could not be roped off. Arbor Care has all of the latest and best equipment.
As a certified Aborist - Herb know his business. He first assessed our tree, then came back several days later, to climb it and take samples. He then sent them off to Cornell for confirmation of his assessment.
His team was very respectful, courteous and neat - great team! Herb was on site from beginning to end and did most of the cutting work, himself.
We felt that his price was very competitive for the services offered and the difficulty of the work involved.
